Lime Lounge 2014

At Newday this year? Up for sharing an ice cold mocktail whilst listening to some refreshing open mic sets? Then look no further. The Lime Lounge is for all those creative, musically talented, music lovers and everyone else in between. Our heart is to showcase the amazing talents that God has given to people whilst giving all the glory to Him.

Throughout the day there will be open mic sets that anyone, and we mean anyone, can sign up for. Just pop along to the cafe in the day and put your name down. Each evening the cafe will turn into a gig venue and will play host to range of artists from Newday and beyond including; The Outlaws and Battle of the Bands winners and The Lime Lounge House band.

In the day the cafe has a very chilled atmosphere and is great for those of you wanting to hang out with friends, sit and mull over a meaty preach or discuss how poor England were at the world cup. Our famous mocktails are on offer for a tasty price and we offer a great range of limey based snacks (sort of).

God has given us so many seriously amazing creative gifts and our vision is to create an atmosphere in which everyone can showcase their talent without the fear of being judged by how they sound or perform. God loves you just as you are!

So if you’re wanting to belt out a classic, crack a few jokes or just relax then the Lime Lounge is the place for you.
