Finding Joy in Safeguarding Young People
Lydia Taylor
Helping those who are worried/confused/frustrated by safeguarding get a new perspective of safeguarding as a joyful privilege and a practical outworking of the Father's love for our young people.
Praying With and Through Scripture
Livy Gibbs
Learning how to pray with your Bible open, to listen to the Lord and fellowship with Him. We will look at practical steps on how we can be led by His Spirit and His Word in prayer, rather than approach prayer as a shopping list of requests from heaven's supermarket! We'll also make sure we put principles into action and pray through some verses in our time together.
Discipleship at the Core: Nurturing Passionate Followers of Jesus
John Dutton
I'm looking to equip youth leaders with a holistic approach to discipleship. We'll explore practical strategies for nurturing passionate followers of Jesus, evaluate current practices, and align them with biblical principles. The goal is to develop youth ministries that help to form wise, loving, and passionate young people who exemplify the fruit of the Spirit and participate in His Kingdom mission now and beyond.
Newday Focus Group
Stu Gibbs
Newday exists to help the local church reach and disciple the next generation. I would love your feedback on how we can do it better and I'd love to hear your thoughts on a few decisions we need to make in the coming months!
Leadership Health Audit
Gaz Sims
Tired, distressed or too blessed to be stressed? Leadership is hugely rewarding but often comes at huge cost to our emotional, spiritual and even physical wellbeing. In this very practical session we’ll be taking a moment to pause and assess where we are at with our leadership health and pick up some helpful ideas to enable us to lead from a place of health in a way which lasts.
Growing in the gift of prophecy
Linda Geevanathan
Prophecy is one of the gifts that God uses to strengthen, comfort and exhort his church. The session will look at practical ways to support young people to take risks and grow in the gift of prophecy.
How to preach the bible to teenagers
Martin Segal
Reaching teenagers with the timeless truths of the Bible is no small task in today’s fast-paced, digital world. We will explore effective approaches for connecting Scripture with young minds and hearts. Discuss practical strategies to make biblical teaching relatable, engaging, and impactful for teens. I hope this session will equip youth leaders with tools to communicate the gospel in a way that resonates with today’s youth.
Leading teams well
Tex Chettiar
Looking at how to make the best of leading with a team and how to raise up leaders.
