We Are Newday Generation

Summer 2024 marks twenty years since the first Newday festival, held at the Newark showground in 2004. Over the past two decades, we’ve had the privilege of seeing God do incredible things in thousands of young people’s lives. An entire generation has emerged, as an estimated 100,000 young people have been part of the Newday Journey.

There are tens of thousands of delegates that have experienced Newday as teenagers over the past twenty years.

They are the NEWDAY GENERATION.

As we enter the next phase of the Newday journey, with the new charity set up, those of us who experienced Newday as young people have an opportunity to sow back into the emerging generation, to financially give back to enable even more young people to grow in their relationship with Jesus through Newday.

Over recent years, we’ve provided complimentary tickets to young people from unchurched backgrounds so they can attend Newday. We’ve made these tickets available to youth leaders to use at their discretion. Each year, this helps around 500 young people who otherwise might not be able to attend Newday. This feels like an opportunity to engage the Newday Alumni to fund these places.

A monthly gift of just £10 would allow a young person from an unchurched background to attend the Newday Festival.
